I saw a new Sig 229 with a light gray finish. Is there a new PVD Legion Coating?

Not hat I know of. Could be what you saw was a NIB old stock original P229; the first P229 Legions were light gray.

Called Sig; it was made in 2016 and PVD. Scooped it up; it was trade in that had not been fired.
