Don't Panic![]() |
I went to the Owner's Manual page at SIG's website the other day, doing some sanity-checking on whether current product manuals other than P365's have 'cook off' language (which, they do.) I went there thinking I'd check the current version of the P226. But, they don't have one there to download?!?!! Here is the complete list of manuals there to download:
This seems odd to me. Anyone have a sense of why the P226 might not be up there?

Considering they are missing the P220 and P229 also, I suspect they are in the process of a revision. “There is love in me the likes of which you’ve never seen. There is rage in me the likes of which should never escape." —Mary Shelley, Frankenstein

Doesn’t that manual cover the entire line of the classic P-series, not just the P226.

SIG pulled most of its manuals after the P320 drop-fire problem surfaced. Other than adding a P365 manual and variations on the P320/M17 manual, the manuals for other lines have not been restored, although the Classic Line manual came back for a very short time. Below are the manuals shown on SIG's Support Download page for various dates from the Internet Archive: 7/3/2017
