I did do a search before posting, if I missed this, please lock or delete. I am not a SIG P320 owner/user.

The SIG P320 XFive SXG pistol with the stainless steel grip module is a nice looking pistol. SIG is plenty proud of them with an eye popping price. https://www.sigsauer.com/p320-xfive-sxg.html

As a USPSA member, I receive "Front Sight" magazine.
In the January/February 2025 issue, there is an article on the Brouwer LLC aftermarket SIG P320 steel grip frame, M18123.
It's somewhat confusing in the article as they identify the M18123 grip frame in the text as being manufactured from 416 stainless steel, but the article photos show a grip module Model identification as M1823.

Going to the Brouwer LLC website here: https://brouwerllc.com/
The website doesn't appear to list the Model identified in the text in the article, the M18123. But they do list the M1823 which appears to be available in 4130 carbon steel. (currently backordered)
1.52 pounds of 4130 steel for the aftermarket grip module! https://brouwerllc.com/product...123grip-module-steel

This mix up on Model numbers may just be the website isn't yet updated with the information on the 416 stainless version grip module.

Me personally, I prefer heavy pistols for USPSA Production Division competition, and I'm using a SIG P226 Stainless Elite in 9mm.
The Beretta steel frame pistols, Walther steel frame pistols, and CZ steel frame pistols continue the trend for heavy steel framed pistols for competition. and/or duty usage.

If you are an existing SIG P320 user, and shocked at the MSRP for the factory stainless steel grip module version, now you have another choice!

Here is a link to the USPSA "Front Sight" Magazine article, but I am unsure if it can be viewed by non USPSA Members. https://uspsa.org/magazine/view//2025-01#page=65

Interesting. I'm glad this exists, but it's still out of my reach price-wise. I am actually working on a P320 build project right now, and would love to have a steel frame for it, but I could get brass grips and magwell for the AXG frame I bought and still only be into it for half of what this thing costs.

The aluminum grip module with brass grips and magwell will be entirely different with balance/weight distribution. It will feel "rear weight" biased. The steel/stainless steel grip modules will be more "forward weight" biased which will be beneficial during rapid fire.

I agree. But it's also not $700.

I am old, and senile, and thus easily confused. But $675+ for a grip module when the factory version is $375-ish? I can buy a used Gluck Wink for that $300 difference …

Like I said, I can definitely understand the appeal, and there is certainly a place for this. The price is just painful. It's probably due to the low production scale, as I don't see a P320 grip module being any more difficult to machine than a traditional steel handgun frame...if anything it's simpler.

I think I was OTD for around that price for my P320C with a couple boxes of ammo.
Added my email to their 'win a grip module' list. Otherwise, it's a non-starter for me.

Pretty sure that was the Aluminum version that was in the $300 range. I think Sig's Steel Frame is also in the $600-700 range as well.
