Interesting design. I read an article about Rudd and his pistol in an old Gun Digest. He also developed a carbine using the same design.

Badhammer, I believe the article you're referring to is the second link I provided in the original post. It's a shame that poor firearm innovation (e.g. Hudson Arms) exists when prior un-funded designs, which may have real potential, never had a chance to be launched. In Rudd's case, it sounds more medical/age related than an unwise business operation or firearm technology. The .45 shown in the Youtube video looked pretty slick.
