I don’t believe they make that slide in .40. I’ve only seen 9 mm.

Hi. For any Sig original P series, you can use dove tail-based plate EGW-49415 for RMS cut optics or EGW-49518 for RMR cut optics to mount a RED/GREEN dot.

Here is one of my Sigs, an M11_A1 (P229)
Use this link to get a good res pic

or this low-res pic

With a direct RMR cut Green dot

I prefer an RMR to Picatinny like this so I can mount an optic or laser

and with a Green dot on top

and last, the Iron sight view

Let me know if you have any Qs.

Revised with new pic links.

Good lord... Seems like you'd need to hold that M11 at belly button level in order to use that latter optic. Big Grin

FYI, nobody but you can access your Amazon Photos account. So those links to your Amazon albums are blank for the rest of us.

Your Flickr thumbnails are working correctly, though.

I am surprised they worked in thread "Talk to me about the P290RS".

You may want to go there and take a look.

Those P290 photos are links to publicly shared photos, and are visible to others. Notice how the links starts with "https://www.amazon.com/photos/shared"

But the links you've posted in this thread are to your own private photo galleries themselves, and are not accessible to others. Notice how these links start with "https://www.amazon.com/photos/all/gallery/"

Although I shared all the same way, they came different. I will try to figure that out.

Flickr reduces the resolution very much.

Maybe this Sig family is more in line with your taste

Not really. Personally, I prefer my handgun optics and iron sights mounted at standard sight height, allowing for a normal grip/stance/presentation, rather than your overly exaggeratedly height over bore system.

Like these.

I totally agree if the firearm is optic ready and fit the EDC for a civilian like me.

I already have an injured left hand from a faulty G19 discharge and only trust DA/SA Striker fired (like the P99 family and the Canik TP-9/TP-9DA or DAO striker fired (Mod Taurus G3 family)).

In EDC mode, laser for me is a much faster target acquisition system than an optic dot, hence my lasers are dual color, Red/Green.

Yeah, that's a lot of height over bore. How do you carry that? Seems like it would be hard to conceal. Like Rogue, I prefer a direct-mill.

I normally use an OWB Commander Pro size 1made by Versa Carry when no frame Light attached. It has a pouch for a spare mag. And when I have a frame Light/Laser attached (laser here for intimidation)
I use custom ones made by Falco overseas.
Residing in TX, CC is not an issue with a dangling shirt or a very light vest.
These two variances fit all of my Sig, Walther, Canik, XD-E and my DAO Taurus G3 family, of which all have the same dove tail-based Laser or Green Dot. My flashlight normally is a separate high-end Coast 1500 Lumen (being a 70-year-old man).
My P290RS family members come with a Sig Polymer OWB that allow my formation as well without the spare mag pouch.
