I don’t think it’s a coincidence MecGar is making the 365, Shield and now the Taurus mag.

I don't think these will be as popular as the G3, with the usual Taurus crowd, due to the lack of extended magazines.

But I'm sure I will see a few........in the property room. Wink Regards 18DAI

Backstraps are nice, Glock sights a plus. They will offer 13 and 15 round mags. Looks more comfortable than P365 at same size with better grip. If it works, and has less recoil, they will smoke Sig.

That’s funny. This gun won’t smoke the 365 except to cheapskates who will risk their life to save a hundred bucks.

Taurus quality is spotty. Their CS is not good. Sig makes guns with problems at times. They fix them though. (Except for mosquito). Plus at this point nobody is having any issues with 365’s. Unless you fear primer smear.

Glad you need a tool to disassemble. Fml

Might want to wait till they hit the market before criticizing their quality. I heard a number of warnings about my employer starting to sell the G2, that we would spend our days getting them repaired. We're up to 73 sold, no returns. Funny, we took in about 26 Smith-Wessons for recall issues during the same time frame. At one time their backlog was 7 months.

they have improved,

still a long time on hold sometimes if you call,

quality is much improved, at one point I was sending 1 out of every 8 or 9 PT111/G2C's back for repair,

I have not had to do that well over a year, pre cooties

He who laughs last as the saying goes right? Had P365 amd XL, accurate and reliable. FN 503 shot way softer, just as accurate, limited capacity. I prefer my P30SK V4.1 currently. I enjoy looking and playing with the micros. I look forward to CZs, HK, Steyr and Walther’s micros, and heck if Glock would get off their butt, use a metal mag, bit thinner polymer they could be in the running too.

Still plenty of room in the field.

All true, except that saying there is plenty of room in the field, which I would agreed with you, and what you actually said, “they will smoke Sig”, aren’t even close to similar statements.

The 365 sold a million copies in no time. Or a billion if you believe their press release. Lol. Taurus will have trouble hitting that’s mark let alone “smoking them”.

Like it or not, the 365 is the gold standard in this class right now.

You gun store employees with your “nobody is returning guns” have got to at least caveat those statements. People who try to return guns back to a store are in the minority. I’ve returned a dozen guns in my lifetime to different manufacturers. It’s always been the same process for warranty work. They send a label and you drop it off at UPS/FEDEX. Why anyone would involve your stores completely eludes me. Hell I live in a horrible gun state, Maryland, every single 320 I sent in for the “upgrade” (3), was delivered straight back to my door.

I have owned a half a dozen Taurus pistols over the years and wouldnt buy or carry another one for anything. They just are not reliable.

P365, Hellcat, G43, M&P, okay, they are all fine. Taurus, nope.

Always nice to see more options but nothing I would be interested in or recommend to anyone if for no other reason than their horrid customer service.

I wonder how many Taurus buyers are going to actually buy 4-5 boxes of ammo, range and SD, at current prices to try the pistol out and check for reliability? I would bet the average Taurus pistol is lucky to see 100 rounds fired through it in it's lifetime and most go right into the sock drawer.

Much better proven options are available for not that much more including the P365 if that is at all possible within one's budget. Taurus is the Harbor Freight of firearms but that is still a big slice of the market.

Here is a range that estimates it's rental SIG P365 has had 100,000 rounds fired through it with two minor issues - the RSA and trigger bar spring. I like that kind of reliability and durability in a micro compact even though I would never shoot one that much myself.

I saw that Kentucky Gun co. had some for $380. I know they've just been released but that's way too much. This gun should going for $300 or less just like the G3c. That's where Taurus could keep these pistols selling faster than they could make them. But in the current high demand climate, who knows? They may sell like crazy even at $400.

At $300 I could be tempted, if reliable reviews deem them GTG.
Could be a good BUG/pocket carry replacement for my P11.
