Hi all I posted a month ago about getting a a 239 DAO the frame had made in germany on the frame . I saw one today that is DA/SA with a serial number that should be 1st year production and it doesn't say made in germany on the slide I know it probably doesn't matter but is that correct ? The serial number was SA 22455 . Was hoping the experts could help me before I buy it thanks in advance

Yup, it would be a first year gun from the mid nineties. Good luck!

Brings up the question... is there a way to find the date of manufacture of a Sig... specifically P239s? My Native American Name: "Runs with Scissors"

A few P239 are listed here, Mr Blume: https://sigforum.com/eve/forums...0601935/m/1130042554 Politicians seem to have forgotten that they work for us, not the other way around. — — — — — — — — — — — — God bless America.

I have a P239 SAS that's late manufacture, like 2009-ish. It says EXETER-NH-USA on the frame and nothing on the slide (except the model number).

My SAS is marked Exeter, NH on the slide, Germany on the frame. I think I got this in 2006. "Nature scares me" a quote by my friend Bob after a rough day at sea.
