Smith and Wesson Model 67. My personal off duty was a two-inch Model 10 square butt.

My very first LEO issue was a S&W 686 with a 4" barrel that I loved. Then, the Army issued me a Beretta 92 which I did not care for

This was my first pistol purchased around 1991ish. Incredible gun. I just shot it this weekend at the range. In my opinion this generation (3rd) of S&W is their best ever. I’m not a fan of the M&Ps. I always get compliments on my 6906 and 5906. Gorgeous weapons.

This was my 1st year in LE as well. S&W model 10 was my first gun issued. That thing was weathered. We switched to Glock 45s after that. As a detective we could carry whatever we qualified with. The .45 would pull my pants down so I carried my personal S&W 6906 instead. Those were the days. We worked inner city and only half the shift had hand held radios. No radios and 6 shooter wheel guns.
