There is a utility to such abominations which is not apparent. There is a lawyer on youtube who said something to the effect of "Get a pink pistol for your automobile." The idea- and it has merit, in my opinion- is that if you are involved in a road rage-type incident and the driver of the other car falsely accuses you of brandishing a firearm, they will have to roll the dice and say that the gun appeared to be "silver" or "black". However, if you have (only) a pink or lime green or fluorescent yellow pistol in your vehicle, you have an excellent chance of convincing the police that the accusation is false. I doubt that hardly anyone would keep a pistol with an oddball finish for such a reason, but, there it is. Beyond that, things such as this eyesore attract the tasteless among us and I wouldn't have the pictured pistol if you gave it to me. | |||
