| There is one similar on the list that shows a date of March of 2000. Best way to know for sure is to see if it has the original grips and if they have a time stamp wheel embossed on the inside of each panel.

| I may be very biased to the 229 in my collection of shooters but ... ... Buy that one pronto!!!! You will be glad you did. Such a minimal investment allows as said above many options for you to enjoy it being whatever you can utilize the most.
