I remember reading an earlier posting about a member who had a P320 and the recoil spring assembly shot out through the front of the slide. Same problem for me! Just bought the gun in March and got it to the range today. Happened at about round 40, after the gun got hot. I wonder if the slide gets hot enough to expand enough to allow the RSA to leave the slide. And the RSA is jammed in the slide! I talked to Sig and the CS dude seems to think the RSA is out of spec. Maybe. Anyway, it is off to Sig for a fix. And this after I rode out the whole "drop safe" fiasco and waited to buy a 320 until after they got that sorted out. I want to like this gun, since for me it is the right size and capacity for EDC.

Sorry Yoop, that sucks. I guess when you get it back you can try it again and see. Personally, I'd have little to no faith in it after that. Had a similar thing happen with a Bersa. They replaced the pistol with a new one and I sold it as soon as I got it back. Good luck.
I'd rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I'm not.

And since this is .45, could it have a recoil spring assembly for a 9mm? Is there a difference in diameter of the assembly between the two calibers? I thought the difference between calibers was in spring weights, not in actual size.
