Over the last two weeks I have picked up two Sig .45 acp's. I won the P220 in a Auction for $550 not sure if I paid too much. If I remember the red cases mean CPO. Not sure what P220 CPO's go for I didn't see any online.

This week I got caught up in the Glock madness and was picking up a G19C. On the shelf was this Sig 1911 C3 with laser grip that I thought I needed. Price tag was marked $499.99 so I decided to get it.

Didn't know much about the Sig C3, but it felt really good in my hand and I'm a sucker for lasers. Took them both to the range on Thursday and only had one hiccup with the C3, but the P220 was flawless.

I'd say you did really well on both of those. The C3 models can be pricey, even on the used market but you stole that one. Very nice. I love the 2 tone Sigs and they appear to be in excellent shape.

You can't go wrong with a P220. Just cannot go wrong. They just work. I have probably owned 12-15 of them over the years, am now down to the four I cannot part with.

Congrat.

I've picked up a few 220's myself recently. And have been carrying one pretty regularly. I don't need another, but If I find one with a Nickel slide, I'm in.

Nice pick ups! I had a CPO 239, and I swear they bead blast the worn blue slides to make them look like new again, but I do like two-tone pistols. Of course I can't prove that Big Grin

The prices are very reasonable. How is the accuracy? My 220 has not been shot in 20 years. It was a tack driver the last time out.

For the appeared condition, $550 was a great deal! I miss my P220, that and the 4566 and 4506 are the best DA/SA .45’s made in my opinion.

Took both guns to range and they both ran like a champ. Laser was dead on the 1911 and the P220 was crazy accurate.

It's Deer season in KY I want to see if I can get a doe with one of them.
