I'm not a big fan of spending on a new gun, but when my LGS pulled this out of the box, I fell in love! They guy standing next to me grabbed this one, and my dealer is trying to track down my badge number from his distributors (#499) for me.
Wonder what their 500th anniversary edition will be.

Such a good looking gun. Thought so even way back when they changed in the Marines from the too-old rattle trap 1911 to the new issue 92's. Too bad they have always been too fat for my little girlie hands :-(!!

I thought the same thing and rarely ever shot my original 92FS because of it, until I shot my Langdon with the ultra thin G10 Grips...they make a world of a difference and my inox is one of my favorite range guns now
I actually like the gold engraving for a commemorative gun, and did agree that they should have put a really nice set of wood grips on it. The G10's are awesome for shooting, but I suspect there won't be many of these that see range time, as they're (IMHO) collectible pieces; that said, I would keep it 100% stock and leave the original grips on it (if/when I get one).
I’m a Beretta guy. The thin LOK’s are phenomenal. What is even better is the VERTEC grip. For my firmly medium sized hands it is the best fitting 92 ever. The fact that the 92X’s also come from the factory with better stock triggers than ever makes it a win win for me. I think it is because they finally just started installing D mainsprings from the factory. So all you guys who think the “from the factory don’t do any mods or you’ve broken the gun” can see a first hand experience of the factory learned from us not vice versa. The original was over sprung. Always was I’m sure to satisfy the govt contract. Great triggers on the new ones.
Beautiful gun.

The competition Beretta has the best DA trigger pull of all my Beretta's! I haven't snapped the trigger on this one at all and don't plan on it LOL
