I know of the match elite. Were there any others in .45acp?

The 2-tone SAO Supermatch.
Also, the Match Target 2-tone in DA/SA.

Didn't the old compensated P220 Sport have a 5"+ barrel? I remember buying one of those barrels from Numrich some years back.

The P220 Sport barrel is just about 5.5"

The barrel ends before the ports and unlike the P229 Sport pistils, the barrel is not threaded into the extension

The P220 Sport Stock is the normal 4.4" barrel length

Here is the P220 Stainless Match Elite

The P220 was also offered in a 5" SAO Match Target version

As mentioned the Match Target also came in a traditional DA/SA configuration, but I never owned one of those or a SuperMatch.

At the time the Gun Shop "STORY" was that the SuperMatch pistols were selected because they exhibited superior accuracy when tested. That was a pile of cow chips.

If that statement were true, the SuperMatch serial numbers would be all over the place, however they were all sequentially numbered so I never spent the extra money

There are also a few versions of the P220 X6, just in case you need all the barrel.

There was also a Tutone 5" P220 with standard sights (not a rear adjustable). I had one many years ago. Sold it off because it didn't shoot any better than a standard P220. Also the box just indicated it was a standard 5" P220 and not a match gun. Also note it is DA/SA.

^^^ Those are the versions I glommed on to. They have a "match cut" chamber, but it doesn't do much. IIRC, Bruce Grey's assessment is that they didn't do enough to ensure consistent lock-up at the front end. OTOH, they shoot softer and have a longer sight radius than standard 220s, and that's why I still prefer them to the standard 220s.
