Would anyone know which of the various SIG pistol cases the 226 Sport Stock (no comp/barrel wt) came in?

Hello and good morning Para.

Did the box come with the sticker or did you put that on there? I ask because mine doesn't have the sticker.

Thanks

The box came just as you see it, sticker and all. No usual external label on the end of the case, with model number, serial number, etc. The spot on the case where the sticker is applied- there's a circular depression molded into the case, the same size as the sticker.

The pistol came with a test target and a SIGARMS catalog (the pistol is from 2005).

Thanks Chief! That looks like a really nice P226S indeed. The pic of the case answers my question.

Oh, forgot to add- the pistol also came with a rear sight adjustment tool.

Interesting. My case doesn't have the circular depression either. Doesn't have the "stacking" extrusions on the four corners either. Not exactly sure when mine was manufactured. Thanks for the response.

Remove the barrel from the slide and look on the left side barrel flat. There will be a two-digit date code. AF=05 for 2005

SIG-Sauer Date Codes

I have an older P250.

The box is as yours is with the recessed circle for the sticker.

Thanks again Para.

Even more weirdness. I don't see the date code anywhere on the pistol. I see proof marks all over the place, but nothing for a date code.

The slide and frame have no date code. Did you look at the left barrel flat?

The slide and frame are marked on the right side with the Bundesadler over N, but no date code or Kiel proofhouse mark. I don't know why.
