The box came just as you see it, sticker and all. No usual external label on the end of the case, with model number, serial number, etc. The spot on the case where the sticker is applied- there's a circular depression molded into the case, the same size as the sticker. The pistol came with a test target and a SIGARMS catalog (the pistol is from 2005). | |||

Oh, forgot to add- the pistol also came with a rear sight adjustment tool. | |||

Interesting. My case doesn't have the circular depression either. Doesn't have the "stacking" extrusions on the four corners either. Not exactly sure when mine was manufactured. Thanks for the response. | |||

Thanks again Para. Even more weirdness. I don't see the date code anywhere on the pistol. I see proof marks all over the place, but nothing for a date code. | |||

The slide and frame have no date code. Did you look at the left barrel flat? The slide and frame are marked on the right side with the Bundesadler over N, but no date code or Kiel proofhouse mark. I don't know why.  | |||

Yes, I did look on the barrel. The left side just says SIG Sauer. The right side of the barrel has proof marks, but no date code. | |||
