I recently got a 1994 W. German marked P226, in sore need of refurb. It was pitted in places, the trigger was inconsistent, and it was apparent the springs needed replacing.

I had SIG refinish the slide and barrel, replace the worn parts, and replace the wear parts. A nice bonus was the hammer spring now yields a 10 pound DA pull.

SIG really outdid themselves, for less than $300 (including shipping).

What kind of finish did you get?

The original matte blue.

There's no mistaking that pistol for anything other than a Mercedes-level sidearm.

How did the shipping work? Did they email a shipping label both ways and tack it onto the total cost? What was the turn around time?

$55, and about two weeks total.

In fairness, it needed the total going over.

It seems they back up at the new year.

And yes, they RMA'd it to me via email.
