Come on guys! Smith and Wesson is new at making revolvers. Give them time and I’m sure they will work the bugs out.

Seriously. This is ridiculous. I’m to the point I would have to test shoot any S&W before I bought it. Give me a Ruger all day.

Except I absolutely had to send a Ruger back. Cylinder bound so tight you couldn’t pull the trigger. It happens. It happens too much though. My MG’s have been perfect. The 617 goes every range day.

All 3 are on their way back to Smith & Wesson now for warranty repair. Even that process has not been smooth. Submitted 3 e-mails requesting warranty repair, one for each revolver since their system will only accept one serial number at a time.

Received a response back authorizing return only on the 686. Wrote back and asked about the other two. Response back authorizing return only on the 617 but took issue with the 610 disputing the serial number and that it was not a Mountain Gun. Wrote another e-mail and that issue was clarified and return on it authorized as well.

Get home last night and got to print out return labels and the printer is out of ink. Go to Wal-Mart and it’s $159 for replacement toner cartridges. HP can eat a bag of dicks but that’s the subject for another rant…. Go to print letters this morning and my internet access is down which means no WiFi, which means no printer. So MacGiver a solution of using my iPad as a hotspot and networking everything through it just so I can print letters to include with each revolver to describe the problems that I’m having with them.

I’m really starting to believe that these revolvers are cursed.
