I just ordered this pistol from Shoot SIG, 365XL-9-BXR3P-MS-10 for $495 OTD. I wanted the 3.7" barrel and this is the only option offered. I'll order a 12rd magazine for primary and have the 2 included 10rd as spares.

I've DL the owner's manual from SIG website. Is there any other user aid I should get prior to its arrival?

Is there anything other than a 12rd magazine I should order to go with it?

Thanks for any and all advice on prepping for its arrival.

If you don’t have the UpLULA already, get one. Your thumb will thank you for it. But, you’re a Houstonian, why ordered one with 10-rounders?

I wanted the 3.7" barrel. Not every model is available through Shoot SIG. This was the only one with 3.7" and it isn't even in the official 2025 model list. I just found it when I was going to order the 3.1" I knew was offered from their list.

Id add a 17 and 21 round magazine to your list of things to buy. Carry with 12 in the pistol and a spare 17.

I'll have to look into the 17rd. It would probably fit into the cargo pocket reserved for a spare mag. Thanks for the input.

I would suggest that you get the Wilson Combat lower. It's relatively inexpensive and a much nicer grip frame than the factory one. I put one on my 365XL and was very pleased.

I've got the Tyrant grip module from Brownell's to try out. If I don't like it I'll try WC next. Once the pistol arrives which SIG says could be up to 10 weeks.

I agree that the WC grips frames are superior in almost every way. However, they are a tiny bit wider, which might matter if you're going to pocket carry.

You know, this is the third or fourth time I've seen the WC grip module recommended for the P365 in the past few days. And it's got the wheels turning in my head. I absolutely abhor every factory P365 grip I've ever handled, including the XL and Macro (haven't tried the AXG or Legion or whatever they're calling it). They're too small, too boxy, and have too short of a trigger reach. When I establish a 2-handed grip, the palm of my support hand never touches the gun because there's not enough room left since my dominant hand wraps almost completely around it.

When I had one, I put a Hogue grip sleeve on it to make it just enough bigger and more rounded to get a halfway comfortable grip on it. But I'm also not a huge fan of rubber, or slip-on grips. Now you've got me thinking that I need to get my hands on one of those Wilson Combat grip modules and try it out. I'm not sure why I'd need a P365 at this point, but it would be nice to at least know if there's a solution out there to make it viable if I ever end up with another.

The WC grip is a little thicker. I have the 12rd WC grip mated to a short slide.

I have the Tyrant CNC grip on my XL slide.

I've got Wilson Combat grip modules on my 365X and 365 X-macro. They are game changers, especially if you've got big hands.

I'm thinking about the WC grip just to be able to add the tungsten weights to it. And the grey color doesn't hurt anything either.

I hope yall are right about this WC grip, got the 12 round size incoming with some armory craft parts to try and make this tiny ass pistol more manageable.

I carry the 365XL with the Wilson Combat grip module and a 507k with a 12 + 1 and a spare 17 and another spare 12 in the truck console vault. You never know in the Houston area when you might need more ammo.

Received the WC grip, installed is fits all fingers (75% of the pinky) with a 12 round magazine. And it does have a bit more girth or palm swell, however you want to describe it.

I bought a Bravo concealment IWB holster today to just give it a go, with a 12 round magazine the gun still fits comfortably in my shorts pocket, maybe not ALL of them but the two I’ve tried it one so far.

I’m still awaiting Armory Craft parts (single-sided extended safety, extended slide release, and extended take down lever as the factory parts feel like I’m trying to find a g-spot at 16 again.

I’ll use the factory night sights until I can find some u-notch black rears to pair with big dot fronts like the DWX and some of my 320s had. Might not be a fan favorite but it’s my favorite.

I second this, by far the best upgrade I made to mine and I changed the trigger and slide too.
The Wilson combat grip makes a huge difference

I'd also look into the Magguts +2 kit for the twelve round magazine as it adds almost no length.

Have you used the Magguts for a good while with a lot of rounds through it? Any glitches? Thanks for the input.
