I have a P226 I want to mount a Venom on. Need suggestions for a decent slide mount. Have seen ADE Advanced Optics and Docter. Suggestions please. Thanks

I'm confused by the question. Are you looking for a mount that might use the existing dovetail? In which case the word decent doesn't apply, they all suck. Or are you looking for someone who can mill for a Vortex?

and all the dovetail choices are poor, at least if you are doing more than experimenting. If you can't have workable backup irons the setup is problematic. FWIW
