Hello all, new guy here. I had some questions and it seems like this is the place to get answers. I just inherited a Sig P232 from my uncle, and it is one of my first Sig firearms. I'm still kind of new to everything and learning, so please excuse my ignorance. The gun I got did not come with a magazine, and right now it is kind of a paperweight. I read that they stopped making magazines for them a while back and cannot import them anymore, which is kind of disheartening. Is there any place that has them for less than $200 apiece for a factory magazine or are there any aftermarket magazines that actually work out there? I saw only a ProMag option, but the reviews were very bad for them. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I would love to be able to shoot it. It is a very cool pistol. Thank you.
I'd suggest staying away from aftermarket for these...factory is expensive for sure. Just keep searching, be willing to pay close to $100 and you'll find one.
Wandering gun shows with cash is your friend. A few months back, I found one in a "grab bin" of misc parts for $35...scooped it up the instant I saw it. Seller didn't even know what it was for and asked if I knew, after he took the cash.

I would not pay for triple K or promag. But if the price is ok you might try one and see if it works well enough. I doubt it will. I got about 6 P230/232 mags on eBay and gunbroker over the years and they are out there. I paid $30 or less but that was quite a while ago and they are waaaay more these days.
