Just making sure I know what I think I know: The slide assemblies are interchangeable between a DA/SA pistol and a SAO pistol are they not?

I have a Sig P226 Legion SA/DA 40 S & W caliber. I bought an compete upper took off from a Sig P226 Legion SA only 9mm to shot 9mm ammo. It works great w/o any problem so farSmile
