Henry has a new revolver.

I don't have any info about it but wondering if anyone here has seen one yet, or been lucky enough to buy one.

With some great revolvers already out there on the market, I'm not sure what Henry can bring to the table, but Henry has always been a good rifle brand.....

Hmm. Kinda has a retro Harrington Richardson vibe.

Not at all sure about a screw head right in the web of my hand though. That’s kinda weird.

I'd prefer it had the ejector rod enclosed.

I don’t hate them. They have kind of a retro vibe going on. I am not looking to buy one or anything but I don’t hate them aesthetically. The grips need a little work and I’m not sure about the brass trigger guard but I kinda dig the retro thing.

A pretty crude looking $800+ revolver. Looks like the love child of a Charter Arms and a RG.

Those were my thoughts also.

They can do better than a gutter rear sight. I'd like to handle one though.

800? I would be good for $150.

Is the MSRP on these really $800? I handled both styles today at the NRAAM in Indy, and was thoroughly unimpressed. The finish looks painted on (very similar to what they use on their .22 leverguns, which are acceptable at their price point, but not on an $800 revolver) and the action gives off a Charter Arms vibe. I don't think I'd even pay $350 for one, but that's probably about where these ought to be...hard pass from me.

I was also underwhelmed by the Homesteader...heavy and hard to actuate the bolt release, and you can feel the bolt mass when you cycle it. I wanted to like it, but just can't do it.

I'd forgotten how nice their Big Boy leverguns are, though...I got to handle one with the side loading gate and I have to admit it seemed the equal of a Marlin for the action, fit and finish.

Didn't know that they could shine up a Heritage Rough Rider like that...

Wait, what? Okay. Nevermind...

Agree with the hate. They might sell 6 of them at $800+

Looks like a Saturday special.

HENN-REEE! That be homely. Hardly waitin' for de Golden Big Boy ta show up inna spell.

I think some of the posts in this thread actually insulted Charter Arms with their comparisons.

I have concerns about the grip extension / brass at the top of the grip to the rear. Isn’t that going to put a lot of pressure on the web of the hand?

Way too ugly at their price point and even then.
