Looking for an inexpensive source for 7mm Mauser ammo.
1895 Chilean Mauser needs to be fed.

There's not really any such thing as inexpensive 7mm Mauser ammo any more. The cheap surplus 7mm all dried up years ago. (Much of it wasn't the best quality anyway, having been stored in less than stellar conditions in the Central/South American climate for many decades.)

Nowadays, unless you just happen to stumble across a collector who's selling off his older stash of ammo, your least expensive option for 7x57 is commercial Prvi Partizan/PPU ammo.

Of the companies producing new commercial 7x57 ammo, Prvi's the least expensive. It's still good quality, though. You can find it for around $14/20.

If you want to shoot your Chilean Mauser regularly without breaking the bank, you'll need to reload.
