Why do they charge more if you order it in bags instead of the ammo cans? I would think the bags would cost less.

Usually Cans are reloads, i.e. "Canned Heat". They sell new in sealed plastic.

they have to "seal" the bags. Ammo cans are loaded right into the box.

The "new" is $6 per 50 rounds more expensive. I'm talking $10 per 1000.

I would think a metal ammo can would be more expensive than a few plastic bags.

I would guess it's a matter of time/labor $$$, somebody has to fill a bag with 50 rounds. seal & label each bag, twenty times(1000rds.), and a roll of those bags can't be cheap, they're very thick. As opposed to dumping 1000rds. into a surplus ammo box/boxes. The website says; "unless specifically stated 'NEW', ammo is once-fired brass". The re-loads CAN be bought in bags.

Their prices fell out of flavor with me at least 2 to 3 years ago. Not even competitive anymore.
