I've got plenty of the original Wolf Gold 223, have not tried this new and presumably hotter 5.56: https://www.targetsportsusa.co...-wm193-p-110223.aspx Odd they're selling as Wolf Gold but the box does not say that. Midway has a similar box: https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1679565444 BTW, it's $5.99/bx at Target Sports, case is $299.50 with free shipping.

have not tried the Wolf Gold but I have read good things about it (I have always opted for Fed / Win / PRVI or IMI) interesting new option looks like the published specs are the same but you know how that goes honestly if one liked the performnce of the .223 I would be inclined to stick with that... ------------------------------- Proverbs 27:17 - As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

I ran into this product a few days ago as well. The advertised specs are the same, so maybe the only difference is a bullet design. There are still no reviews available and the price is a bit higher so I’ll be avoiding it for now. There is also wolf gold M855 62gr product available this year as well. Target Sports is now showing out of stock, sorry. I had not planned on buying any (I have lots of M193 already) but I'm wondering why they call it M193 if velocity is the same as the 223 Gold.

Here's a brand new (like yesterday) 14 minute video from Buffman RANGE comparing 223 Wolf Gold and the new M193: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OEfJmQjpXQQ His summary - with a nice table - starts about 12:10. Plot spoiler: Velocity is about the same for both.

Other than the case being stamped 5.56 you cant tell them apart. Essentially a 15% premium over gold for some white boxes labeled M193. Even the Losers Get Lucky Sometimes
