I measured the velocities of the following loads fired from a P320 full size, 10 rounds each, LabRadar chronograph. Winchester M1152, 115 grain FMJ FP (“Active Duty training”): average - 1374 fps; extreme spread - 65 fps Winchester 124 grain NATO, Q4318: average 1193 fps; extreme spread 76 Federal 124 grain HST, +P: average 1230 fps; extreme spread 72 Federal 124 grain HST, standard pressure: average 1142 fps, extreme spread 42 Groups fired from bench rest, about 7 yards. Although I tried for the best precision possible with iron sights, not too much should be made of such short range groups and small sample sizes. It is, of course, not surprising that premium defensive ammunition would be more precise than training or even duty type ammo. ► 6.4/93.6 | ||
