Anyone else get an email about this? I didn’t realize they were having troubles.

I got the same email today and went out to the site with the intention of ordering some 9 & 45, but then when I started browsing I saw they were out of a lot of their 9MM options, so I decided against the risk. Since Ch 11 is just restructuring, not winding down - I would think any orders would be fulfilled. It's usually their suppliers who get the short straw.

There have been quite a few recent discussions on the KIMBER forum about them closing their brick and mortar locations to focus on online sales.

If people would mind their own damn business this country would be better off. I owe no one an explanation or an apology for my personal opinion.

In today's market, it's understandable for a retailer to shift to strictly online sales. That being said, the FM store in Houston closed abruptly and w/o any announcement that I knew of. The location is still full of fixtures. Abrupt closings are usually a bad sign.

They cant handle the calm before the storm (of elections?)

Restructuring means ripping off your suppliers. No business from me ever again.
