I collect a certain vintage ammunition. I'm looking for the best way in long term storage to maintain the integrity of the cardboard boxes where they wont deteriorate or become brittle. Currently i have them in ammo cans with some desiccant packs. any other tips for long term storage for these boxes of ammo?

Buy a vacuum sealer and seal the boxes in the bag along with the desiccant then into the ammo can.
