Why does CCI keep changing?? Used to be plain mini mags then went to mini mag target now mini mag tactical is there a difference?? I cannot find mini mag target anywhere anymore

I don't see anything about a Mini Mag Tactical load being offered by CCI.

There are Mini Mag Target, which use 40 grain round nose bullets. Then the only other flavor of Mini Mag on CCI's site is Mini Mag Varmint, which are offered with either a 36 grain copper plated hollowpoint or a 40 grain segmented hollow point.

So the difference between Target and Varmint in their Mini Mag line is the type of bullet used.

The only "tactical" CCI .22LR load I can find is their AR Tactical .22 rounds, which are not part of their Mini Mag line. They are lower velocity than Mini Mags, and are cheaper, with a more rounded bullet shape (supposedly to assist with feeding in .22 ARs).
