For range purposes I'll shoot whatever cheap fmj i can get my hands on, 115 or 124. Can't tell any difference honestly.

Defensive use I stick to 124 +P gold dots or 135 +P hornadys. Bit extra weight and velocity helps with penetration and expansion.

I always looked at 147s as best suited for suppressed duty, as the additional mass only reduces velocity and doesn't seem to add much to energy/penetration compared to a hot 124.
