Do---or do not. There is no try. |
A friend sent me this link to a new ammunition called Dagny Dagger, which purports to be "a new type of legally-unrestricted handgun ammunition which in 9mm Luger is able to penetrate IIIA armor (all pistol-rated and some rifle-rated armor)." The website continues, "this will allow citizens the first legal access to armor-penetrating ammunition since 1986." It looks like the company thinks it has a legal go-around by using "obscure alloys" other than tungsten, iron, brass, bronze, beryllium, copper, or depleted uranium. But the most interesting feature is a very pointed tip. Has anyone on SigForum seen this? Website: www.atlasarms.org

Fenix had made a tweet a while back using these and showed an entry and exit hole through a IIIA plate. ------------- $

It looks like a saboted projectile for 9mm. Maybe think of it as a .50 cal SLAP for 9mm. _________________________________________________________________________ “A man’s treatment of a dog is no indication of the man’s nature, but his treatment of a cat is.
