https://www.eastvalleytactical...cket-october-25-2025 If you're in the Phoenix area and like guns, I strongly suggest you make it to this one. A ton of suppressor vendors including the big names, but also brands like Staccato, Noveske, Nightforce, Leupold, Eotech, and more. There's nothing quite like walking up to a booth and someone handing you a suppressed full auto TP-9 or M16 and letting you rip off a few rounds suppressed, so come on out. Oh, and make sure you stop by the Stealth Additive Works booth. ______________________________________________ "If the truth shall kill them, let them die.” Endeavoring to master the subtle art of the grapefruit spoon.

Sounds like fun, I'm 1,000 miles away, so probably won't make it. Talk to the Stealth Additive Works about getting in with Capitol Armory so I can shoot their cans next spring would ya? "The left can't applaud me because their hands are in other people's pockets." - Javier Milei

https://stealthadditive.com/bu...-suppressors-direct/ I’ll be honest, as much as I like their Katan, Rob Orgell’s video sold me on a B&T Tiger .22, and currently have one in jail. May also have a Katan also in the future, I don’t know. I’m developing a bit of a relationship with SAW and will have a Shiv to mess around with when this shutdown nonsense ends. If there are any particular cans anyone would like me to see if I can try out, I’ll try my best. I don’t know how much free time I will have, but I’m sure I’ll be able to cut loose and explore a little bit here and there. ______________________________________________ "If the truth shall kill them, let them die.” Endeavoring to master the subtle art of the grapefruit spoon.

Bummer! Well, unless something changes, they’ve been doing two a year, spring and fall, so you won’t have to wait too long. Last one was the first week of April, I believe. ______________________________________________ "If the truth shall kill them, let them die.” Endeavoring to master the subtle art of the grapefruit spoon.

Well, I'll go ahead and say it: I was there from 7am to 5pm. I helped Stealth Additive Works set up and run their booth, then tear down and pack up. I took their lead sales guy to a night vision shoot afterwards out in the desert with the boys and we got to play with some secret sauce stuff they didn't show at the range day. I didn't get to check out any other booths or any other cans, there was a line from the moment the VIP ticket holders were let in to a good 45 minutes after the event officially ended. We were between the Surefire booth and the Otter Creek booth. The Surefire tent was empty and had guys sitting around on their phones after about 2:00. Andrew from Otter Creek came over a couple times and was absolutely enamored with the Shiv and the Click. He's one of the absolute nicest people I've ever met, I really like the man. As for what Stealth Additive showed off, there are several new official releases. The Orev is the evolution of the 9mm prototype can they sent me back in July, and meant for hunters and long range precision rifles shooters. Basically guys who aren't dumping a lot of rounds through a can very quickly. It's a 7.5oz can with interchangeable end caps, and comes with a solid end cap and a muzzle brake end cap (which adds 1oz of weight). We had two Ruger Precisions in 6.5 Creed set up with one of each. The solid endcap is quieter, but has a bit more recoil, and the muzzle brake version is obviously a little louder, but the crosshair barely moves. The endcaps have a kind of ratcheting system with an offset tooth pattern, so you hand tighten, and the end cap won't walk off and won't carbon lock. The muzzle brake version is meant for PRS shooters, the solid endcap for hunters. We also had a Ruger American in .300BO shooting subs with the solid endcap that was about as loud as a BB gun. The only thing that was quieter was a Ruger Precision Rimfire .22 shooting CCI Quiet, with the Katan it sounded like dry fire. All you could hear was the firing pin dropping and the round hitting the steel. MSRP - $1,300 The Shiv has been out for a little bit now, but I'll talk about it. 2.4oz, 3.7" long, 1.3" OD, 1/2x28 direct thread, boosterless 9mm pistol can. It is quieter on my 92FS and my Glocks than my 10 baffle 6.5" Ecco Machine Phoenix TL, which is quieter than my friend's YHM R9, Hux Flow 9K, and Rugged Obsidians. I shot two rounds of 147gr through the Ecco on my 92 with no ears on (I know!) and it was painful. I took it off and put the Shiv on and there was no bite whatsoever shooting 147, 124, and 115gr ammo, again, with no ears on. I was stunned. It actually got quieter the more I shot it. Not in a first round pop kind of way, just... breaking in or seasoning in somehow. I asked my friends if I was losing my hearing or my mind, or was it getting quieter the more I shot it and several immediately said "no, I was asking myself the same thing." Is it the quietest can on a pistol? I have no idea, but I know it makes it quiet enough. It's tiny and light enough that it doesn't mess with the balance of a pistol, doesn't feel like there's a brick hanging off the front of your gun, and didn't induce any cycling issues on anything we shot it on all day, including a G45, G19, G17, 92FS, G19X, PSA Dagger, and a 365 Flux Raider. Oh! And there was no crap blowing back in my face with the Glocks. None. If you know, you know. It makes a Glock a viable suppressor host. We also shot it wet with some wire pulling gel foam, and it was comically quiet, especially for a can that small. I will be getting a Shiv for sure. I think I'll be listing the Ecco after New Year's, because I just won't be using it anymore. MSRP - $560. The Click is the .22 version of the Shiv. It's a little over an inch long, and they didn't weigh it, but it's probably under an ounce. On a Ruger Charger or Kel-Tec P17, it drops the volume with subsonic ammo to about what a CO2 Airsoft or BB gun sounds like. It's absurd. It's the size of some 5.56 muzzle brakes. It'll be available after New Year's because the price makes a tax stamp make no sense. MSRP - $230. All-in-all, it was a great show for me. I heard a lot of loud stuff from all around that was louder than what we had going on at our tent. I have what I guess could be described as a brand ambassador relationship with Stealth Additive now, and I'm really excited about what they're doing. I don't get free shit for saying that, either. Well, I got a company polo and a hat, but that was for showing up and helping out lol. ______________________________________________ "If the truth shall kill them, let them die.” Endeavoring to master the subtle art of the grapefruit spoon.

Sounds like a fun day Smudge. Curious if you were able to get a looksy at the Otter Creek booth and see if they brought their reflex OCM6 or their new PCC Milkman suppressors? I'm making plans for next year for either an M4/reflex style build or a PCC/tri-lug suppressed setup. I'm about 80% set on an OCM6, but I want to see what the CAT Viking will be when it comes out. There are at least 1/2 dozen that interest me in the PCC/ tri-lug space suppressor space and more coming out all the time. I did not, unfortunately. I was so busy from open to well after close that I didn't get a chance to do more than look over there for a few seconds here and there. I didn't even know there was such a thing as the Milkman until your post.
I do know that in the reflex can world, the guys who don't huff Ron Allen's sweaty socks all swear by the OCM5. If Andrew says the OCM6 is that much better than the OCM5, I believe him. He's a no-bullshit country boy with zero pretense and from everything I've seen, an honest man. For a 90's Delta/Gordon clone type thing, that is the can. One of my good friends bought a 723 clone to do exactly that with this coming year. I don't pay any attention to CAT. They make good stuff, and a friend of mine has a Mobster that moves around on various builds that's super quiet, but I just can't handle the company's edgelord approach to marketing. They've toned it down some from some of the peak derp stuff I read from them last year, but still. Incidentally, that same friend had me pull the tri lug out of my SAW 9mm prototype can to mount to his Broad River Tactical integral AR9 build at the night shoot this last weekend. It was hearing safe and super quiet with cheapo Magtech 115gr stuff. We didn't try it out with his Mobster, I dunno why. (Edit- Just asked him and he said that can has a bit too much backpressure for the SD, but the SAW prototype was noticeably better in that regard. I kind of want to build one of those things now.) The suppressed PCC/subgun thing is still some of the most fun I've had shooting maybe ever. Tri lug for convenience, and subs through a wet can? Absolute giggles, and still cheaper than 5.56. My friend with the MOB reloads his own 9mm subs, and worked up a really consistent, accurate, clean-burning load for about twelve cents a round I think he said. That's hard to argue with in an AR, you know? I think that part of the market is going to take off as well. Really looking forward to seeing what all gets announced at SHOT this year. ______________________________________________ "If the truth shall kill them, let them die.” Endeavoring to master the subtle art of the grapefruit spoon.

Oh, there's a good highlight video that came out. Looks like Andrew from Otter Creek has some neat stuff in the works. First time being randomly suggested a video I've spotted myself in. ______________________________________________ "If the truth shall kill them, let them die.” Endeavoring to master the subtle art of the grapefruit spoon.
