Form 4 Trust

Submitted 12/1 @ 1606
Approved 12/2 @ 1322

Less than 24 hours…this is the first ATF approval I have ever had that was less than 4 months.

If you are on the fence at all about a NFA purchase, GO FOR IT!!!

Did yours got DISAPPROVED and got a refund? Or rejected and re-submitted a corrected version (without making another payment)?

I submitted 3 Form 1 and all 3 were DISAPPROVED. Waiting for my $600 refund so I can re-apply with the corrected information.

The e-mail notification I received said DISAPPROVED - INCOMPLETE FORM. My dealer made a mistake and corrected it then resubmitted it. I didn't get a refund and didn't have to pay again.

Got my $600 refunded. Re-filed all 3 Form 1 today with the corrected information (as noted on the previously disapproved forms). I checked and re-checked the information. I hope everything goes through this time. Trying to beat the January 2026 rush.

ATF examiners will be on vacation from the 24th through New Year’s, so you guys have through Christmas to file anything you were wanting.

It’s pretty close to the point where you just might as well wait and save the $200.

I thought about just waiting. The concern I have about waiting for January is the long wait. I still remember my first ATF applications from the past where I waited over a year (this was early 2000).

I still have about 3 other lowers I need to do come January. Just want to do the 2 H&R pistols and the Flux Legion to be done sooner.

I’m waiting until January to SBR my DD PCC, because I can run it just fine with a SBA5 brace for however long it takes. I did do a Form 1 just before Thanksgiving, but it was for something that a brace didn’t exist for, so it wasn’t really shootable until that got done. At this point, I’ll just wait on any new cans until next year.

Yep, we have reached the end of the $200 tax stamp. I see repeated references that there are 500,000 forms waiting for January. You have ONE DAY LEFT if you are going thru the Silencer Shop system for 2025. Starting December 15th they are only working on setting things up for the $0 stamp submissions for 2026. If you are going thru Capitol Armory you have till December 23rd.

I'll be on the sidelines for the next six months. I stocked up this summer, 5 cans total, 4 were approved in 48 hours. The only thing I really want, an Otter Creek OCM6 won't come out till next year.

This is weird. I am glad I decided to check my account with ATF today. I have been waiting for any notification from them via email. NOTHING in my In Box and Junk Mail Box.

I re-submitted 3 Form 1s on 12/10/25. They were ALL APPROVED 12/12/2025. But I never received any email notification. Downloaded, saved and printed copies for my file.

I you submitted any forms to ATF and have not received any notifications via email or snail mail, check your on-line account for the status.

There’s a thread over at arf about people not getting approval notifications, so it seems not to be an isolated problem. The last ones I had outstanding was approved on December 2, and that email came, so the problem probably started after that.

As a note, you can only check the Form 1s that you submitted in your eforms account. Form 4s have to be checked by the dealer who submitted them since they don’t show up in your account.

This one probably isn’t going to be 24 hours, given that today, tomorrow, and Friday are federal holidays.

I did my Form 4/Trust certification on 12/16. Was hoping for one of those 2 day approvals. Now just hoping it gets approved before the New Year’s rush.

They claim that they will process all eforms submitted before Dec 26 by Jan 1. We’ll see.
