Was this a Form 4? I would be shocked that you got yours at just a little over 5 months.

ETA: I originally asked if it was a trust but now see you said it was an individual. Still surprised at your fast turn around.

My last form 4 suppressor was approved in about the same amount of time but then again, I put in for it in January so yeah the April-September turn around is pretty fast.

I have heard rumors that the individual ones were coming faster than trusts which makes sense in a round about way.

I spoke with a lady at NFA today and was informed that they are now looking at 7 months on average.

Completely ridiculous, but given that it is a government agency, no surprise.

Mine was sent in on 6/24 and was hoping to have it around Christmas time. Given that they haven't even cashed my check yet, I won't hold my breath.

And, God forbid Hillary wins in November, they are going to be flooded with applications and the 7 months will turn into 12+.

Was this a personal check ?? It comes out as an electronic withdrawal.

Sorry but I use to get my trust back in a 45 days from 2000 until 2010 . When efile was on line the first year I got my form 1's back in 30 days. At that time individual was 3 months. Don't forget the year they were taking 9 months. I will admit those years there were not many of us using trust for transfers.

Edit : I checked my 8 form 4's and 7 were 37 to 42 days by the dates on the form ,only 1 was 52 days from the date I signed until approved date. The real plus was on the 6 efile form 1's all 6 approved 30 to 32 days and with them I didn't have to wait form them to be mailed.
