Thats next on my list too. A .45 can and a .22 can.

After that I think all my NFA needs are met.

I was told that the gunsmith that works out of Manchester Firing Line
Range does good work.
I talked to him and he said that would be no problem. He uses an
Engraving machine to get the best job possible. Reasonable price also.

I had one approved about 4 weeks before it was mailed recently. Only thing I can think of is there is a GIANT bin that must fill up before being mailed. Good luck if your stamp is among the first to go in the empty bin :/

It's currently a running joke with all my shooting friends. One of them pulled me aside privately and said he caught me saying "I'm done, nothing left to buy" (that was 4 stamps ago). LoL.

Currently waiting a .45 osprey, 9mm Octane, and AR9 SBR.

Once you go pending there isn't anything to check ... you just wait and you get your stamp. If it goes more than a week or two over the average time you can call in or "ask the experts" if there is a problem ... but don't really expect to get a response.

My experience with the experts is to email, then email again the next week and the next week ... Then you either get a stamp or an email with what the problem is ... Then you fix it and anywhere from a day to two weeks later you get your stamp ... The last time I went that procedure I got a reply after about a month and I already had my stamp.

Calling is the same except you leave voice mail after voice mail after voice mail ... Then they will eventually email you, typically after you get your stamp.

Now for the good news ... Every encounter I've had with an agent has been totally professional and every one has been very nice and when they have gotten in touch with me I've gotten my stamp within a 1 - 7 days ... I've had a couple that they have disapproved, I re-submitted with the corrections and it has been expedited ... Once on a Sunday morning I re-submitted the new form 1 around 9am and had the approval by 1pm Sunday afternoon.

If you really want something you'll find a way ...
... if you don't you'll find an excuse.

I'm really not a "kid" anymore ... but I haven't grown up yet either Wink

I've got one pending on a Spikes "Jack" receiver but I'm thinking I might do one on my 10/22 takedown ... I've also got a 10/22 Charger, that I think it would be nice to have as an SBR ... But I've already got a CMMG 22LR PDW upper I can put on my M16 or other SBR receiver as well as a SiG P522 SBR'd ... So it's really not a matter of need so much as it is a matter of want ... Then I'll be done.

Do you know what day yours went pending??
My dealer sent mine in 01-15 and went pending 03-01.

Hopefully I'll have mine in a couple weeks.

Black92 - The stamp has a written date on the stamp and stamped on the Form 4 of April 18, 2016. Not positive that is the same as pending. That is the only other date I have on the Form 4 I received yesterday (05/07/16) not 05/08/16.....

Also when I said approval date above (05/02/16) that is the date that the envelope from BATF was postmarked.

Not sure what pending means myself.

The person I was at the ATF I spoke with said it went pending March 1. Check was cashed 1-29.
