Eforms shows this form now available in eforms which would be fantastic, but it won't actually let me use it. I looked at the ATF eforms forum and I don't see any information about if its just an issue with me or its actually not yet live.
Does anyone know?

I heard about that in a YT video by a pair of Texas-based attorneys who apparently specialize in NFA stuff. I don't recall the age of the video, but I got the impression that it's a pretty recent addition. Maybe they don't have all the kinks out of it yet, or maybe they're doing a partial beta-test deployment (like, only in certain areas)?

Among other things, this little tidbit is in there:

The ATF has stated that all forms in DRAFT status will be deleted as part of the move to the $0 tax, and a new form will be published. The updated eForms process is available for preview on the ATF eForms pilot site. NOTE: You will have to change your password when you log in, and this will be your password only for the pilot site. It will not change your normal eForms site password. Additionally, you cannot actually submit a form for processing on the pilot site, it's meant as a preview for feedback only.

Maybe this is what it is? Preview only at this point, which sucks because it would be excellent if we could pre-fill all the stuff we wanted to hit "go" on right after the site updates. I guess maybe it's their way of helping stem the tide a bit. I haven't personally looked at the new stuff yet, but I've been planning to fill out some notepad files with everything I can reasonably copy and paste to help expedite the process.

The BBB has nothing to do with it. They’ve been talking about going to a quicker process for Form 20s for like 6 months now. It appears to be an email process now where you print out the blank Form 20, scan it and email it in, and get an email approval.

That specific note about the drafts is because some people were wondering about prefilling out Form 1s and Form 4s and having them ready to go so that on Jan. 1, you just hit the submit button. That won’t work. Starting Jan. 1, only the new versions of the form will be accepted, so any drafts using the current version of the form will be automatically deleted.

I still am not sure if its suppossed to actually work right now? In any case I'll do it the old fashioned way because eforms won't let me do it, and I don't think its personal.
