It might be worth the $$ to upgrade your cans to flow through designs, these webpages are saying. Never mind the company sales pitch as such, there's a lot of good information in these: pictures, charts, graphs. https://www.thefirearmblog.com...turbo-t3-suppressor/ ___________ "TOXIC GAS MITIGATION TRADITIONAL SUPPRESSORS USE A SERIES OF BAFFLE CHAMBERS TO TRANSFER ENERGY AND GAS OUT OF THE SUPPRESSOR. THIS GAS CONSISTS OF AMMONIA, CARBON MONOXIDE, AND HYDROGEN CYANIDE. ONCE A ROUND IS FIRED, A BAFFLE SUPPRESSOR WILL PROPEL THIS EXTREMELY TOXIC GAS BACK TOWARDS THE SHOOTER. WITH OUR PATENTED FLOW-THROUGH® SUPPRESSOR SYSTEM, WE’VE BEEN ABLE TO DRAMATICALLY DECREASE TOXIC BLOWBACK BY ENGINEERING A SYSTEM OF HELICAL COILS THAT RE-DIRECTS THE TOXIC GAS OUT OF THE FRONT OF THE SUPPRESSOR AND AWAY FROM THE SHOOTER." (sic: all caps) MEASURING TOXIC GAS To measure toxic gas blowback, we use a device called the Nox Box. The airtight Nox Box contains a mounted rifle with the barrel and muzzle extending outside of the box to ensure only data from the ejection port is collected. A sensor pulls air from inside the box and analyzes it for carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen cyanide (HCN), and ammonia (NH3). https://huxwrx.com/safety https://huxwrx.com/safety#:~:t...nd%20ammonia%20(NH3).

I’m having a RifleSpeed adjustable gas block installed on one of my AR’s at the moment. Looking forward to the results (less gas in my face). Newer LBP cans are definitely the way to go imo. "Attack life, it's going to kill you anyway." Steve McQueen...

Complete sales pitch. Is the gas toxic? Yes. Will it hurt you in at those exposure levels? No. Fill up a room with that gas, you'll have a problem. Catching a whiff in your face during shooting? Give me a break. ________________________________________ -- Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear.
