Form 1 notification to Chief LEO

I know the law changed from Approval by chief LEO to Notify chief LEO a few years back. Here in Alabama we didn’t have to have approval but do we
Now have to notify? Or is that just for jurisdictions that had to have approval?

Yes, notify is a a fed requirement, AFAIK. Still dumb, but much better than requiring their approval.

You do not have to speculate on this. It is specifically section 10 of the Form 1. which you have to sign and certify.
