I'm having issues trying to get my new P320 X-Carry Legion to cycle with my Obsidian 9. Prior to taking it P320 on the range, I cleaned and lubed it. The gun came from the factory with a threaded barrel and functions perfectly until I attach the Obsidian 9. When I fire a shot, the slide usually doesn't cycle far enough to extract the spent shell case. Sometimes it'll cycle far enough to start to extract it, but not far enough to eject it causing a stove pipe. So far I've tried different ammo: Range Dynamics 158fmj, Winchester White box 147gr, Sig V-crown Elite 147gr, Speer Lawman 124gr, and Federal 115gr. The Obsidian 9 comes with a piston / spring so that's not the issue. I've tried it in both the long and short configuration with neither one working. I've made sure the piston and spring are lubricate with white lithium grease. I read an earlier thread here and purchased the DPM Systems Recoil Reduction System recoil rod and spring kit. I tried all three springs with no success, in both the long and short configuration. The gun functioned perfectly with all three springs without the suppressor. Finally, I tried the Obsidian 9 on a Glock 17 and it functioned flawlessly. I know, get a Glock! Anyway, what else should I try? Call Sig?? Thank you for any help / advice! This message has been edited. Last edited by: blindref, Bye for a while, guard the fort. - My Dad

Sig P320s have been known to have issues with suppressors other than the lighter weight Sig suppressors. I think their official position is that they are designed to work with their suppressors only.

After reading many threads about suppressed P320's and cycling issues for the past two days, I came across a thread where the poster said his started cycling reliably after he put about 250 rounds through his. I had less than 100 through mine when I started this thread so I figured that I'd give it a try. I had to hand cycle about 125 rounds, and after that the gun started cycling about 3 or 4 shots in a row. That happened for about 20 rounds and all of a sudden it fed and cycled everything perfectly. No issues at all through the next 75 rounds. I used the stock guide rod and spring assembly, and 115gr to break it in. Once the 115gr started cycling reliably, I switched to 158gr and didn't experience any issues with it either. Hopefully this post will help someone that has the same issue in the future.
