The sights are USGI National Match. The rifle is glass bedded. The Barnett barrel has a mint bore. My gunsmith is a master at building guns that are combat reliable and match grade accurate. Included are seven WW II, S.A. en-bloc clips. This rifle was built for me in the early 1990’s. My gunsmith has an excellent relationship with many of the top people in firearms and called Gene Barnett for the barrel. Gene had just finished six .308 Garand barrels, 1:10 with 6 grooves. Said probably the only ones he might ever make, so a check was sent and a barrel returned. No paperwork involved, so I have none to offer. I spoke to a tech at Accurate Arms and he gave me their “Camp Perry” load. Note: This load is in the "Accurate Smokeless Powder" Book One, 1994, Sierra MatchKing 168gr., HPBT. My best group with this rifle was ¾” at 100 yards – 30 years ago. The barrel is mint with less than two hundred rounds fired of the above load. The rifle has sat unfired in my safe for about 30 years.
