there is another wave of file knives a cookin' in the shop. here is a quick shot or two of a few in the works. the big bowie is not from a file, just had it lying around so i stuck it in the shot. that little scalpel model is my favorite at the moment.

Those bloodwood scales turned out great.

In my mind, I see a sheath for that knife made almost as a "yang" to the scales out of a black wood material. So, when sheathed, it would look like an elongated ying yang. Knowing which covered the blade would be necessary.

i have done some wooden sheaths for custom chef knives and the like, that might be something to think about. i have some larger files still sitting around, i am trying to come up with a nice blade style for those. right now it is between a slim clip bowie design or maybe a nice drop point model.

but wait, there is more! Big Grin we are also doing several Scalpel neck knives with this batch of file knives. i have been asked to make more of these for some time now. so, here they are. we are going file knife crazy around here lately.

OK. here is the last file knife on the bench for now. it is a simple, clean design along with our newest bowie model. we are calling it the Urban Bowie.
