I am a Hinderer Fan (RHK) but Spyderco, Kunwu, Chaves & Protect are the 5 makers / manufacturers whose products I focus on primarily.

I seem to be very engaged in collecting then I lose interest for a few months .
Out of the blue I’m back to spending over a $1,000 a month on knives again for a period of time until the fire or available products run out. Hinderer is good for that Razz

At the moment RHKs has a grip on my wallet & attention.

I’d love to see the current state of some of your collections!

My current Hinderer collection as it stands at 15.

I passively collect good condition Western brand knives that are reasonably priced. Started with a Bakelite pommel and guard baby shark when I was young.

Got a pretty decent Spyderco collection going, but I think I'm going to convert that over to Microtech and Heretic. I know they're overpriced for what you actually get, but God help me, I freaking love OTF's. They take up a lot less space in the pocket than Spydercos for the same amount of cutting performance. Spydercos are also a lot less of a deal in recent years. Their prices in the last five years have gone absolutely batshit. Knives I paid $150-ish are now twice that or more. That's Microtech OTF territory.

I was big into Busse Combat for years. I still love the older stuff. My kids will probably use them for gardening when I'm gone. lol

I used to collect Spydies and Benchmade. I know BM is verboten now but I still love all their knives.

I collected Bark River for a long time and a small collection of the Tony Bose Case knives.

I was into Scrapyard Knives for a while, but when it was more or less folded into Busse I left the scene. Haven't bought one in several years.
Now it's mostly Case XX, more trappers than anything.

Would love the ZTs to be Hinderer's but $$$$$$$$
My meager Hinderer collection consists of 2...

When I was living in Columbus, OH (born and raised) I would hit the gun show circuit almost every weekend.

There was a knife maker by the name of Larry Bailey, who made these gorgeous custom knives and I started collecting them.

When 9-11 hit, I finally got picked up in Law Enforcement and relocated to VA. Well, between LE and then the military, I didnt get to go home as much as I liked. When I did get to go, I was always a wekeend off for the gun shows.

I have about a dozen Emerson folders, and a few of Tom Vosler’s blades. I was fortunate to get a perfect little camp knife/skinner from Tommy McNab before he passed.

I've collected custom knives for years, had more than a few from several makers. Had a medium collection of Emerson customs, still have several from W.D. Pease, had seven Bob Loveless double edge fighters at one point and my one true collection is Jimmy Fikes. I'd hunted for Fikes knives for years, at the top I had 14 pieces.

Does anyone else here remember Agony, he was an early member here at SIGforum.

He had an amazing collection of Benchmade knives.

I was really into Strider knives for a bit. It started with their fixed blades, but moved into folders. I have 6 fixed blades and 7 folders.

My folder sweet spot is 3.5” blades, so I really like the SnG.

Now, instead of a specific brand or maker, I focus my sights on folders in that 3.5” + or - blade range.

I guess I would say my two favorite brands are Benchmade and now TOPS. I really like TOPS knives. Both are expensive so I don’t have too many of either, but I have a few. I am thinking of getting another TOPS knife now.

I had never heard of Randall’s until now but man, they are twice the price is a TOPS knife. Why do people need to feed my addiction? LOL.

I have four hogue knives. But the rest of my collection is a cross section of knives. If I was only going to buy one brand it would be hogue!!!!

While I have other Spyderco knives the PM 2 is my favorite. Para 3 isn’t far behind thought. Razz
I do seem to prefer titanium no matter what platform it is.
