This whole county except for the county seat is very conservative. The county seat is 3 miles from me and is Democrat controlled by the same lunatics that you have seen the last week on tv. They do not come out in large numbers to protest, but there are alwsys some. They are usually led by saps from the local labor unions. Guys who could not think their way out of the first grade. My county in the Commonwealth of the Bluegrass is pretty conservative, ran by Republicans and the nut jobs stay to themselves and are quite. ARman

I live in Marin County, CA. I am just 20 miles from ground zero San Francisco. The leftists here are many and stupid. The believe the craziest stories. I have been yelled at once, from someone who thought if she yelled I might knuckle under and becomes a progressive like her. I dare not put a bumper sticker on my car, it would get keyed or vandalized in some way. Just after the acquittal in the 5 cop Philadelphia case a year or so ago, I was riding in an elevator in Berkeley with two persons who were wearing Black Lives Matter shirts. I suspect that they thought they could intimidate me, but they got out of the elevator a little less bold, because they realized it wasn't working. This was while stopping at a store right after spending half a day at the range, and I was in no mood to put up with BLM or other Berkeley BS. -c1steve

A big fat goose egg. The congressional district I'm in hasn't voted D for a representative, senator (since direct election of senators was begun) or presidential candidate since 1880.

Seems to be very quiet here, but rural to very rural here, as is a large part of the state. Things getting quieter as with winter weather showing up. Elk season underway, deer season coming up, pheasant hunting down lower, everybody CCW's here, except for those who open carry, and non-hunting tourists .From the responses so far, seems to be quiet out in the countryside, but much more active in the urban areas. I hear stupid comments from left-leaning professors and students at school. I interacted with a youth at work the other day who claimed he was an anti-capitalist, democratic-socialist. I see and hear it to an extent, but it's not signs and shouting and protests and attacks. just perpetuated comments by a very, very, very small percentage. ____________________________ While you may be able to get away with bottom shelf whiskey, stay the hell away from bottom shelf tequila. - FishOn

I don't care about harrassment either way; what someone else has to say means nothing to me. There are states in which I won't live because of their policies; chief among them, 2nd amendment issues. I've had some very good job offers in California, for example, and won't live there. I don't like their firearms laws. I've lived in Vegas four times, but won't go there again, due to draconian firearms laws. I've no use for other states that trample the 2nd amendment, either. What people have to say is their business, but I consider firearms a core issue of the constitution and critical to national survival as a country. I won't live somewhere that infringes that right. Accordingly, I live somewhere in which there are almost no restrictions...not even a requirement for a concealed carry permit. People can say what they like, and harrass if they feel they must. I've never seen it. The closest anyone ever came was when I open carried in a gas station once, and the owner questioned my right to have a firearm. I never went back. He went out of business. Life goes on.

I am embarrassed to say that Marquette County is the only county in the Yoop that voted Democrat. And has been Dem for years. No real harassment yet, but quite a bit of whiney protests in front of the Post Office for a variety of liberal causes. I would guess that NMU is a contributing factor in this. Leftist antics are rare in my rural area in south central Va. The county votes red, the city votes blue ( has to do more with handouts than social hangups) you can talk Trump and wear what you want. 美しい犬

Scripps Ranch, San Diego: voted 40% for Trump in 2016, has a Dem representative. I see NO yard signs for partisan elections right now. I would not have a Trump/GOP bumper sticker due to fear of vandalism, otherwise people I am around don’t talk politics much. That’s also true at church where I think at least half are conservatives. _________________________ “Remember, remember the fifth of November!"

Don;t really fear it in Phoenix. However, Phoenix PD seems to know how to deal with it as evidenced by our infamous shooting in the nut sack with a pepper ball during the anti-Trump rally. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpBJSFkAS8U My daughter can deflate your daughter's soccer ball.

About zero here, both Senators are GOP, 3 out of 4 Representative are GOP, GOP governor, GOP controlled legislature, all-GOP county officials, state Supreme Court is left-leaning, but not terribly. I'm within smelling distance of Des Moines though, and its stocked full of leftism.

Pretty much what Armored said. (Minus the Republican alderman) My neighborhood is one of those RED dots in this sea of blue. MAGA hats and shirts, bumper stickers and the like. Fear from the lefties? Fuck no! Some whining vegan snowflake that drives a Prius? What the hell is there to fear? ______________________________________________________________________ "When its time to shoot, shoot. Work? Sure. Not exactly fear, just a lack of suspense. I pretty much always know what will happen next. Hone? Lulz... THAT would be a fools errand. Strive to live your life so when you wake up in the morning and your feet hit the floor, the devil says "Oh crap, he's up."

I think Iron Range Democrats are (or used to be) a different variety than those in MSP. The Range was always about the unholy alliance between the DFL and unions. With the shift toward Trump among steelworkers, I'm guessing they are hoping to import some new supporters. I'm just basing this on having grown up there. I live in the red zone now, so may be way off on the current situation. The area I live and work in went almost 2:1 for Trump, so not much in the way of local leftist activism.

It’s sort of hard to understand but as right leaning as the voters are in Alabama the newspaper and local tv stations lean toward the left.
