Thanks. Over the many years, chords on guitar just became shapes. Just thinking about the notes that go into the chords, while it seems clearer in the layout of the keyboard, takes a long moment. This is going to take some work. |

Keyboard chords are just shapes, and IMO a bit easier to grasp than guitar. As explained in the McCartney video "three fingers". What I noticed about McCartney's playing in the video is that he favors his right hand for chords and his left for polyphonic single note melodies and he is a left handed guitarist. I'm the same on piano (right hand chords, left hand melody notes), but I'm a right handed guitarist.
