I normally take shoes off and wear only socks upon entering a home. I'm in Michigan, and it's a pretty common thing to do that. Totally barefoot indoors isn't really a thing I've seen much. Outdoors, I tend to wear shoes /boots. ------------- $

There is a world elsewhere |
What are you, from southern Illinois or something? some kinda troublemaker? If you arrive in sandals, but shoes are not allowed indoors, then you have little choice but to go barefoot once inside. this is the one time of the year we get to go barefoot in warm weather. There is nothing poisonous in MN, just some poison ivy, a rare spider or two. We like wearing as little as possible and going barefoot in the land of 10,000 lakes as often as we can in warm months. Just be glad it wasn't cargo shorts worn to a wedding. I've seen that, it isn't pretty. A well balanced breakfast being necessary to the start of a healthy day, the right of the people to keep and eat food shall not be infringed.
