5 1/2 in the Tundra Crewmax. Long enough, I can leave the tailgate down for sheet goods and I have a hitch mounted bed extender that I’ve used for 12’ siding and 16’ boards.

If I had to do it all over again, I’d get the same size truck. I must like it; I’ve had it for going on 10 years and 180,000 miles. I’ve never wished the 8’ bed was shorter or longer. This message has been edited. Last edited by: trapper189,

I have one truck with an 8 foot bed and another with a 6.5 foot bed, so answered the poll with 8 “Government exists to protect us from each other. Where government has gone beyond its limits is in deciding to protect us from ourselves.” ― Ronald Reagan Retired old fart

Had to vote 6', but my 17 crew cab Ram 2500 has a 6'4" bed. I really wish I had held out for an 8' bed, but that's coming from someone who uses their bed for work frequently.

First Super Crew had the 5 1/2’ bed. I resented it every time I had anything of consequence to haul. I didn’t feel it had much more utility than the Expedition it replaced. The 6 1/2’ I replaced it with is just right for a half ton truck. If I found I needed 8’ of cargo room it would be a ton truck. ----------The weather is here I wish you were beautiful----------

6.5 super cab F150. It doesn’t go in the garage either "The days are stacked against what we think we are." Jim Harrison

F150 Super Crew with the 5 1/2 foot bed. It has handled 1/2 cubic yards of mulch and soil for my wife's garden which is as much as I've needed from it. Even without a longer bed parking can be a bitch in suburban So Cal. With as many trucks and sub's as people drive here, I don't get why many parking lots have narrow lanes and stalls. Doesn't help that a lot of people here don't park any better than they drive.
