I'm going to assume everyone knows about this sale because the website is taking forever to load.

Pre-France? Are we talking Charlemagne and the Holy Roman Empire? (Which, by the way, was neither holy, nor Roman, nor much of an empire, but that's beside the point...) Or are we going all the way back to the Frankish Empire, or the Roman Empire, or the Gallic barbarian tribes?

Either way, I don't think they wore modern-style woven or knitted socks (at least as we know them) back then. Sandals were the footwear of choice, and even back in the Dark Ages and earlier into antiquity, they were educated enough to know that socks and sandals shouldn't ever be worn together.

Oh, wait. You said this was NOT a pre-France sock thread. My apologies.

Not surprising they are offering this. Their main sales channels are brick and mortar run specialty and outdoor specialty stores. And 90% of those retailers across the country have been closed for the last month.

The local Academy Sports has some Thorlos in stock.
I picked up a couple of pair a few years back and they are pretty darn good.

they are very comfortable , they last a long time, they are made in America, with American materials,
if you call them to order, you speak to An American , that you can actually understand,
they have a great
return policy , (That I have never used)

low maintenance, be sure to follow the washing /drying instructions.

and they are helping folks out on the front line, currently

you know for a fact that 90% of the brick and mortar stores that carry Thor Lo socks are closed now?

Are you a Thor Lo Rep ?

Where did you get your information from?

are you a sock distributor?

Is there a pair or style that won't leave imprints in the skin on the tops of my feet like my current brand of socks do?

are you diabetic and incurring edema ?

if so ,
Kim at thor lo suggested their adxm model of sock

Folks feel free to call'em and ask questions, they are patient and helpful.

I get mild edema and my Kx model hiking socks, do leave a tiny bit of imprint , but not a concern as far as comfort.

I've been having problems with new socks and the bottom of the heals wearing through.

Any chance these are more durable?

I LOVE these socks. They are super comfortable and they LAST. I had a pair last with weekly use over 12 years.

Not for a fact, just an educated guess. And that 90% is specialty stores. That does not apply to Academy or other big box stores. I work in the outdoor, running and cycling industry. I have sold multiple sock brands in the past, but do not currently sell a sock brand.
