Those dangerous uncle Dave's with their (gasp) conservative voting record.

Like so racist.

I remarried almost 2 years ago. My brother did not come to my wedding because of January 6th. We always got along. Unbelievable how politics will divide people. I didn’t think to ask him for a gift. Big Grin

Unbelievable.

Hard to believe the article is true, but given today's society, it probably really did happen.

He never said why he didn't come to the wedding until a year later when he had to call me about some family issues (mom with dementia). Then he went off on a crazy rant about missing my wedding because he didn't see me denounce Jan 6 on FaceBook and then I left Facebook and Gmail. He, honest to god, was just losing it. He knows I'm conservative but we hardly ever talked politics. It was very strange. I don't talk to him or his family anymore.

These go to eleven.

It's not too late. If he's giving you a monetary gift be sure to tell him to add interest since it's taken him two years. Cool

Angry in Philidelphia is a petty, delusional, enabler.

I love the two comments on "bridezilla hall of infamy" and stating the silent brother is the only family member behaving appropriately.

I would disown angry Philly bitch and her daughter. She was counting on Uncle Dave’s money. This is so ridiculous it almost seems like a sick joke. Uncle Dave should have gifted a car with a full tank of gas and $1,000 in the glove box to the groom.

I wonder if the new husband in this little drama knows what he's getting himself into? If this is what they send to the paper, can you imagine the crap that goes on that they don't?

I'd guess that he sees her 'standing with' what the fuck ever lefty wet dream is a measure of strength and she is correct to 'lean into' what she believes, 'Looking through the lens' of being bat-crap nuts is not a bug in a relationship for these simps, it's a feature.

Good for uncle.

I’ve got some family members i definitely will not discuss politics with. But i still like them we get along and otherwise and would attend weddings if invited.

To not invite better yet specifically disinvite and then ask about a gift is the height of temerity.
