2000Z-71So does this mean they're going to relax zoning requirements on things like setbacks and non-permitted construction so a shack can be built in the backyard?

wishfull thinkerThe first two homeless tents just appeared on my little island paradise. there have been range-free crazies for a few years but they had the good grace to stay in the forest or the deep ravines.
Now here they are, bright as day and shiny as a new pimple. My bell-weather neighbor, a retired teacher who is as liberal as she is dense and is my go to for the sense of the majority libs was classic: 'Oh I think it's just awful, I wish we could do something for them so they didn't have to live like that, like let them gather in the parks.'

kimber1911Honestly, the Celebrities and Politicians in California have some fairly large yards.
They don't really need the space for hunting.
They need to just give up their extra space.
They should be required to register it, so we know where the homeless can go.
It will be safer for the children to have the homeless in the Politicians and Celebrities backyards.
It's only common sense.

sigspecopsHuh, why don't they just build houses for all the homeless folks or apartment complexes? And then give them some grocery and entertainment money. These people shouldn't suffer the indignity of living in someone else's yard. If you're gonna do things crazy then go big crazy.
